Questions
Before you request a session
How much room do I need for the Super Sixteen?
Less than you might think. The Super Sixteen pairs with the HQ Little Foot Frame, which is built for stand-up quilting in smaller spaces. At 5 feet long and 4.5 feet deep, it takes up less floor space than a queen-size bed. You’ll also want room to stand comfortably in front of it and to reach both ends while you quilt. Not sure how it’ll fit in your space? Your retailer can help you plan it out.
How much does it cost?
The HQ Super Sixteen starts at $10,495 MSRP with the 5-foot HQ Little Foot Frame, the pairing made for smaller spaces. If you have more room and want to quilt larger pieces in one go, it’s also available with the HQ Studio3 frame in 10 or 12 feet, starting at $11,495 MSRP. Your local Handi Quilter retailer can walk you through pricing, current offers, and financing, so bring your questions to your session.
What happens after I submit the form?
We’ll send your request to your nearest Handi Quilter retailer, and they’ll reach out to find a time that works for you. Your session isn’t scheduled until you hear from them. When you go, you’ll get to quilt on the machine yourself and ask anything you’d like about space, setup, and financing.
I’ve only quilted on my home sewing machine. Will this be a big jump?
It’s a new way to quilt, but it’s easier to get comfortable with than most people expect. Instead of pushing your quilt through your sewing machine, you move the machine across the quilt. The Super Sixteen keeps things simple with features like Easy-Set Tension and bright LED lighting. And you won’t be learning on your own: Handi Quilter’s online videos and tutorials, plus classes at your local retailer, will help you build confidence as you go. The best way to know how it feels is to try it, and that’s exactly what your Hands-On Session is for.
What warranty comes with it?
Handi Quilter longarms come with a 10-year limited warranty on the sewing head casting, a 5-year mechanical warranty, a 5-year electronic warranty, plus 90 days of parts and labor. Be sure to register your machine to activate your coverage.
